Dr. David Cicerchia is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, orthopedic spine surgeon who has practiced in Rhode Island since 1996. Dr. Cicerchia specializes in the treatment of cervical and lumbar conditions including traditional cervical and lumbar surgery as well as minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Cicerchia earned his bachelor of science degree at Boston University and was accepted into the prestigious, advanced/early acceptance program at Boston University Medical School after his sophomore year of undergraduate studies. After earning his doctorate of medicine at Boston University Medical School, Dr, Cicerchia completed his orthopedic surgical residency program at Boston University where he served as chief resident. Dr. Cicerchia then went on to complete a specialty fellowship program and orthopedic spine surgery at the combined Harvard/Tufts spinal surgical fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Cicerchia was born and raised in Rhode Island and came back to practice after he completed his training. It was always his goal to return to Rhode Island to provide care to the community in which he was raised.
