Breast Cancer Support Group

Kent Hospital is pleased to offer a free breast cancer support group that meets every second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. It is an informal, ongoing group, bringing people together to share their experiences and problems related to cancer and to provide one another with comfort and help.

In the Community

The Cancer Program at Kent Hospital coordinates annual community screening events including skin screening, breast health screening, lung cancer prevention and early community outreach detection programs. Contact the center at (401) 736-1988 to learn more.

Our cancer program partners with the American Cancer Society to reach patients who are interested in support programs at diagnosis, during treatment and following treatment, including the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better Program, National Cancer Survivors Day, Kent Hospital Breast Cancer Support Group as well as other resources.
