Kent Hospital and Rotary Club Host May Breakfast

Kent Hospital, a Care New England hospital, is partnering with the Rotary Club of Warwick to host a traditional May Breakfast. The proceeds will benefit Rotary Charities including the Kent Employee Emergency Program (K.E.E.P.). The breakfast will be held on Friday, May 3 from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at Kent Hospital, 455 Toll Gate Road, Warwick, RI.

“We are very much looking forward to hosting the May Breakfast with the Warwick Rotary Club again this year,” said Robert Haffey, MBA, MSN, RN, president and COO of Kent Hospital. “This event is a great opportunity to give back, as it helps to raise funds for our local charities while also bringing members of our community together. We welcome all hospital staff, patients, families, and members of the community to join us for this special event.”

This year’s May Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, French toast, a granola station, and hot and cold beverages. Vegetarian options are also available. Tickets for the breakfast may be purchased at the door for $8 per person ($4 for Kent Hospital staff), or in advance from the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, Greenwood Credit Union, the Warwick Beacon office located at 1944 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, or a Warwick Rotary Club member.

The Rotary Club of Warwick is part of Rotary International whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services locally and throughout the world. Local beneficiaries include Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, Warwick Boys & Girls Clubs, Mentor RI, Academic Decathlon, Boy Scouts of America, Arthur Trudeau Center, Warwick Center for the Arts, Friends of RI CASA, Ocean State Center for Independent Living, Bridgemark Addiction Recovery Services, Cornerstone Adult Day Care, Thrive Behavioral Health, WestBay Community Action, Warwick Association for Affordable Assisted Living, the Warwick schools third grade dictionary project, and annual scholarship funds for one senior at Warwick high schools - Hendricken, Pilgrim, and Toll Gate. This very successful campaign will continue until the scourge of polio is conquered.
