8 Hours dedicated to bi-weekly classroom learning, incorporating case studies & simulation training.

Pairing with a dedicated clinical preceptor to provide support and learning while experiencing different patient care populations
Encouragement and support while progressing through the stages of nursing from novice to expert with a focus on improving confidence and competence as a nurse working on one of the Med-Surg Units or Float Pool, with attention to patient safety and satisfaction.
Participate in simulation activities practicing primary assessment and intervention techniques, evaluation of admitted patients, and interdisciplinary collaboration between members of the health care team.
