Community Health Needs Assessment

Care New England is always keeping track of the needs in our community and making sure we have the programs and interventions that help meet those needs. Through targeted efforts, the system has worked to improve public health and the quality of life for people of the state and region, including:

• Staff involvement in community organizations
• Teaching those who want careers in health
• Sponsoring community events
• The everyday commitment of our health educators who lead a rich array of classes and programs

To help guide community health improvement efforts across the system, Care New England participated in a statewide comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) led by the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI).
